I have a 29 gallon fishtank, no co2, and 55watt compact florecent.
The light is on for 8 hours a day.
I am currently dosing the EI method and I was wondering what classifys the aquarium of being fully planted to the point where you should fully dose according to the EI method?
I have a 12 inch long clump of java fern, some very small amozon swords etc.
Yesterday I completely redid my planted tank and tore it down so that I could start from scratch. So apart from the java fern mentioned above allow of the plants are very small and still recovering. There is also anabus that is fairly big.
Should I be dosing the full amount and just letting the 50% waterchanges at the end of the week get rid of the extra ferts?
I know that once the tank is fill in there will be no problem so I for the time being I just wanted to make sure. I dn't want to get any algae from the start this time.
