How to clean out Lysol ?

Frankly I think everyone over reacts when it comes to soaps and cleaners of any kind. Glass and silicone do not absorb soaps/cleaners so all you need to do is rinse, rinse and rinse again to ensure there is nothing residual. Lysol IS a soap so don't add more soap!

I teach chemistry and BKC can be neutralized by oxidation... that is exposure to oxygen or chemicals which act like oxygen. Chances are the active ingredient is already oxidized. However, if you are still concerned, a very very very dilute solution of bleach (which I know is also toxic to fish) but you can let that rinse out and use dechlorinators. Another suggestion may be to use Oxyclean, which is a non-chlorine based "bleach".

The vinegar is an acid, the salt is also a good idea, but not a strong enough oxidizer.

Good luck!
