How to get a Marimo Ball Round?

Just FYI, my moss balls are major debris collectors. So I don't sqeeze them out into the tank, I sqeeze 'em out in some tank water in a bowl. Dirties the water less (altho maybe not as big a deal if you don't have plants and can gravel vac easier, but still).

yea i read up on marimo balls, but thanks for the warning, BTW nice biocube!!! do you have any threads on it? i used to have a biocube but i got a different tank and me and my best friend share it at his house! he has better tap water lol that was my problem.

Heh, I think we talked about it way back when actually. I have pics of individual fish but I haven't posted about the whole tank for a while. Cory fry took over. It has 2 marimo balls now tho.

I love how in your first pics the snail is just gliding off into nothingness lol.

My balls haven't flattened out yet, but I have heard that that is pretty common. As for debris collecting, mine do the same thing so i have to squeeze them out. Hadn't done it in a while and did it last night (in the tank). Won't do that again.
