How to get rid of green hair algae?

Hello all,

I have had a serious green hair algae problem the last little while in my 20G long planted tank. The photo period is about 14-15 hours a day. I dose each day with Fluorish Excel and do regular weekly water changes of about 25%. I have 2 Convicts in there so having a cleanup crew for the algae is out of the question.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a solution? Thanks in advance.

right off the bat though, sounds like your light period is several hours too long. most reccomend 10 hours or less, and some say a 5 on, 2 off, 5 on cycle works best.
