how to keep quaranteen tank cycled ?

I have a ten gal that i bout to house guppy and black molly fry
they are big enought to move to my bigger tank and i could use the 10 gal for a hopital or quarenteen tank ? will the cycle die if i remove them as the amonia source will be reomoved ?

yes the cycle will die...what I suggest is to keep a small extra sponge in one of your established filters and just swap in over to the 10 gallon as you need to and swap it back when you dont need it anymore

can i purchace the spoinges at the lfs ?

yes most LFS should carry them pre-cut or some material to cut your own to the size you want
