how to kill copepods??

I used Prazi Pro for flukes, it worked out fine. Also, it didn't affect my scaleless fish. Maybe it will take care of your little infestation. I say give it a shot, but be conservative in the amount you use.

To those of you who don't think its copepods what do you think it could be and what in your experience do copepods look like?
These are tiny white disc shaped creatures that scurry around the substrate and plants.

do a search for "limpets". these are like tiny, oval-shaped whitish/clear creatures. they are related to snails, but are shaped like an oyster with only half a shell. they are not dangerous to fish, but do wander all over the tank looking for food and when the discus rest in the plants or near the bottom, the limpets hitch a ride. basically, they are harmless, but a sign of overfeeding/dead plant material in the tank.

Copper Safe will take care of them and any other invertibrates in your tank.

Does anyone know that copepods are what I'm dealing with or could it be something else?
They are so small they are almost specs.

does it look like this? (only really really tiny?)

or like this, but more white instead of yellow?

I just came from my discus breeders house and spoke to him about what these things are in my tank. He agrees they are copepods. There are many different types of copepods but they are all harmless at controlled levels and will hitch a ride on fish, especially on slow moving fish like discus.
He also informed me that everone has them in there tank. you might not have many or may never notice them but they are there.

That was just a little info for anyone with a similar problem that may be searching for this information.

Thanks for your opinions everybody.
