How to kill fish eggs in home aquarium

Thank goodness most don't survive. Out of 300 - 500 eggs laid, I will get around 8 - 16 survivors. Doesn't sound like much I know, but over time.... Instead of raising the fry, can someone take the eggs and raise them from the egg stage? They live and thrive in my canister filter, that's where they survive. To move just hatched fish is usually a death sentence for them. But I will put up a notice around the pet shops in town to see if anyone wants to take baby cories, they are albinos and grays. I can leave them in the canister for a month or more, that's what I do now.

And maybe I will break down and buy a couple of fishes that I know will eat the eggs.

Thanks for the suggestions, I most appreciate it.

anyone else thinking caviar?

buy a couple mystery snails. they don't add much to the bioload, and will eat any eggs they find.

Raphael Catfish. They devour fish eggs. I have seen one demolish a Red Devil nest guarded by momma. I don't think the corries would be much of a deterant.

I will surely check into the mystery snails and the raphael catfish. But I think I will forgo the cavier, oh yuck!!!!!
