Please tell me how to make them and what parts to get..My tank is 48 by 13, 80 gallons..I can go to the hardware store and how much money would it cost?

no idea what they cost at YOUR store. they're easy to make ... basically cut them to size for your specific tank with a pruning shears or wire cutter or whatever. get some quality suction cups and place two on each side of the divider, top and bottom on each side of the divider to hold it in place. voila

You can take a narrow-nosed pliers and break out each piece along the line you want to "cut". That can work better than using a saw.

I just use wire cutters and cut to fit. Then run a sander along the edges to smoth them out. I then cut a peace of fiberglass screening to cover them with. Add a couple of suction cups and you have a devider fit for a King...Ok maybe not a king but an inmate.

Where can you buy the suction cups at? Will a large hardware store do? I bought the egg crate already..Thanks

Thanks, my LFS has the suction cups, now where can I buy zip ties at? Everytime, I ask a store, they have a blank look on their faces.

Look in the electrical area of the hardware store. Also refferred to as cable ties, wire ties...

Sorry I was gone awhile did you get yours finished?
