How to make aquarium dividers from egg crates?

Yes, it worked out pretty well..The egg crates, you can actually cut it to size for it to fit the aquarium with wire cutters..I built a divider for a 110 gallon, 60 x 18 x 24...I have gravel so that made the egg crates stay in place plus I managed to cut it so that there was a tight fit..Thing I did not like about the egg crates was that the slotes were kind of big and small fish can swim through..I solved that problem by placing 2 egg crates together unevenly so that the slots there kind of blocked..Then I used the cable ties to hold to egg crates together..Worked out well

Egg crate $10.80
Suction cups $1.69
Cable ties $1.19

Nope I could not have bought a divider at an LFS for 110 gallons..Thanks for the advice.

Inorder to make smaller holes use fiberscreening.
