Yep, a few plants hate Excel, valisneria & elodea come to mind but there might be another 1 or 2. I had V. nana? & used Excel. It didn't quite die out but was severely stunted. I don't want to grow elodea because It's never been happy with or without Excel. Mostly it prefers cooler temps...
