How to ship driftwood?

i'd just let it dry and stick it in a box with some newspaper or other packing stuff and ship it off

Yeah, I'll probably do that. It might be cheaper for me to ship flat rate, I'm not sure, I have a bunch of shipping boxes coming in sometime this week so I'm gonna see what I can work with and how much it would cost to do reg priority vs flat rate.

I noticed that with lighter packages it is better cost-wise just to do reg priority instead of flat rate.

Ptetty sure the flate rate boxes are one cost...not to exceed 70 lbs.....if it fits..it ships.

Yeah, I meant deciding between shipping regular priority and priority flat rate. I know with lighter packages, like some small fish, inverts, plants, it is way cheaper to send it regular priority than it is to send flat rate.

Drift wood can be brittle so just make sure the box isn't too short, but doesn't have too much room for the wood to "drift" around. haha.a

you can also look into parcel post which can be cheaper but you need your own box. there are 2 medium flat rate boxes that are just under $11 to ship plus there is a large flat rate thats $14. 14x6 i dont think will fit in the flat rate box. might need to attach 2 shoe boxes together for it to work.
