How to Treat Properly with Medication

That is a nice filter. So is the tank cycled now and is all the chemistry straightened out? Is the temperature constant? What happened to the plants?
 
Yes the temp is consistant. Except one day it went up a few degrees because it got really hot out. I actually have to figure out a way to keep the water cool in the summer...
I think I just bought the wrong thypes of plants for my lighting, which I'm researching what to do now...
 
Sounds good. Plants can be a problem, especially when they are not doing well. They can mess up the water just as easily as fish can. Figuring out how to grow them takes some time. I tend to think it is much easier just to put some seachem tabs in the substrate and grow some low light plants, then to worry about changing the substrate and getting more than about 1.5WPG. But I am easily contented.

In the mean time, it sounds like you are getting good advice about treating your fish on the other thread.
 
Yeah, I'm just getting frustrated I guess because all seems well for a while and then it gets worse again :(

I have been doing water changes whether it be these betta bowls or the tanks while they were cycling everyday now for about 3 months :coffee2:
