We're running a 90gal reef system but only have a 4x65W PC 48" light system. It's a nice fixture, but we need more and I'm trying to figure out how to add a T5 or MH. All of the fixtures I can find seem like they will block access for feeding, water changes, etc. Will it be enough if I add a single 48" T5 bulb? I can't find a ready made fixture like that, but maybe I could build one into a custom hood. (I'm thinking of doing that anyway, with built in fans for cooling.)

Any suggestions?
Thanks.

What exactly are yo trying to get "enough" for? The stuff in your Sig?

An easy way to add more lights would be just to have half the lights sitting on the part of the glass top which doesn't move, and the other half of the lights raised (either suspend from ceiling or use some plywood to make a rack) high enough above the moving part of the glass top that you can still open the thing all the way.

Yes, mostly the anemone. We just got it, and it's down pretty low. If it moves up higher then it should be ok. (I don't want to try to move it.) We're planning to add more corals next, so I'm planning ahead too.

With the hood I'm thinking about making, I won't be able to hang anything off the edge. So whatever I add, it needs to be pretty narrow.
