How tough are good sword plants?

I purchased three of these plants over a month ago and forgot them in the clutter of my aquarium stuff. Completely forgot about them - as in, they sat in total darkness on a cold floor for over a month in a plastic bag.

While straightening up I come across them and to my astonishment, not only are they still intact but they look no different than when I bought them except for a few brown leaves that I had to remove.

Here they are in my red bucket, awaiting their proper home in my Amazonian tank:

So I think it's safe to say these plants are well deserved in their reputation for being relatively foolproof.

Just wanted to share.
 
Wow, they look really great considering. I think they will be happy to take off for you as soon as they hit water 8) Michelle
 
Whack! You have Super Amazon Sword plants. You should make them go out and fight crime or grow over crime or whatever.
