how u get avatars?

Ok I must be really slow and dumb, but how do you get an avatar? :huh: :dance2:

Click here or go to the user CP in the upper left hand corner and find the avatar option.

Oh, you resize them usually. A program like Paint, PSP, Gimp, etc should be able to do it. There are plenty of freeware image editing programs you can find to do it.

Resize to 150x150, or whatever proportional size. I use FastStone Image Viewer 2.30 freeware program so it's fast and easy.


BTW, that image (http://animal-world.com/encyclo/marine/puffers/images/canthiga.jpg) is already smaller than 150x150.

Edit: BTW again, you could just copy the image location (3rd link) and use it for "Edit Avatar URL:"

I just went to YAHOO (hehehe) and typed in something, then I clicked "small" for the image size, and all you gotta do is find a pic under 150x150 pixels.
