Okay, here's the current shot of my pvc pipes:

I'm still not sure where you suggest to tap that "Y" into because the drain is not at floor level?

I believe the assumption was that the drain pipe exited the basement thru the floor. It looks like its lowest point, though, is at least 3.5 feet off the floor, so a pump is in your future!

Yeah, I assumed the drain exited via the floor, as in...water flows down. Who's drain doesn't do this?!? Only in PA!
Sorry roliva. Unless you want to raise your tank higher than the main and then cut into it (the main), the pump is it.
