how'd you make a tank look like this?

hehe, youd have to display it with the narrow side facing? may turn out well, you may even start a trend! :P

Try stacked styrofoam on each side of the tank, smooth it down, coat it in sand, then spray paint it. Let us know how it works out.

I wouldn't spray paint it... But you could use foam and either grout and then seal, or coat it in aquarium silicone and press sand into it before it cures. Work in small sections so you can get the sand in before it dries. Get sand from a few different sources so that you can work with different colors to try to match the stria of the rock.

The poly foam insulation from Home Depot, Lowes etc is not expensive and works well. I can be easily carved into the shape that you want, and then use a heat gun to smooth it and make sure that no more little balls of foam are going to some off the surface.

Well, if there is a way to do it, i am sure that you will figure it out... your corkscape is, hands down, the most amazing set up I have seen. So much so that I am trying to convince my wife that we don't really need a couch in the living room and that another aquarium would be helpful to our health.
