I think water lettuce would be great for you right now...you need something to hog nutrients and light to get rid of that green water.

Great thanks...Now I begin the journey of finding somewhere to buy the water lettuce at a reasonable price
No sunlight hits the tank AT ALL and I don't understand your ? about the willow trees but yes I have access to them.

I am not for sure i want to take the chance of getting any pesticides or anything in my tank to clear up the water. I am going to try water lettuce and see. Man who woulod of thought algae could cost so much
So i have hooked up another 2 litre co2 bottle, still waiting on the drop checker to arrive (I ordered it from ebay a company out of Hong Kong so I HOPE it DOES arrive Today I hooked up an airline tub ran it from the tank out a window and slowly have been letting the water drain out refilling the tank after about half the water is gone. Thinking that this may get rid of some of the green water. I have been doing this for about 6 hours now and the water is just starting to clear a little. Water lettuce should be here tomorrow. Man I hope something works. None of the fish in the tank seem to be affected or the shrimp and as a matter of fact I actually found 4 little baby cories today.
