Betta spa is Indian Almond Leaf Extract, basically. A lot of us betta breeders use it in our spawn tanks to color the water brown and trigger the spawn. It also lowers pH, enhances the fertility of the bettas, has anti-fungal ingredients, and enhances the color. You may see why we like to use it. They say that it helps reduce stress when shipping fish, as well. I have yet to try that.
