How many people use this filter. I love mine personaliy.

If you do use this filter, have you customized it at all. I have put a sponge INSIDE the cartridge, in the past, and it worked great. Now, i have changed over to useing BioMax pellets, JUST to see what happens.

Also, what media do you use in your front basket? I use carbon.Changed, every week.

Never used one or known anyone who had one. But it sounds like they should work like any other power filter. I would think you could put mechanical or biological filter media into it, or in a filter media bag slipped into the media slot :huh:

I don't find a need for chemical filtration so I just use mech and biol. You can mix and match. Drs. F+S (above) have a wide assortment of both that you can customize and make your own combo
