yeah, i know. i was on a lucky run where all of my nitrates were coming from my well. lol. not so lucky anymore.

no, it came as powder or fine granules. It dissolved fast. I just looked it's MSDS up, it's 100% KNO3

i'm sure i could find some info somewhere on the www that tells you what to dose but i trust you guys. any dosing info?

Dosing is easy, the CO2 is the thing to watch and fear, too much= kill your fish, too little = algae.

Algae you can get rid of, you cannot bring fish back from the dead.
So.....watch and tweak CO2 slowly and carefully, it will reward you if used right. CO2 is why 95% of folks have issues in the hobby.

A bit of 2 edged sword.
