My yellow tailed acei where the first fish added to my tank. Since the beginning I have seen a lot of breeding behavior but no holding females. Other fish in my tank have bred but never the acei (I was beginning to think all 7 were male). So you can imagine my surprise when I turn on the light to discover a holding female Acei! I was so excited but didn't expect it to last since it's her first time. But now it's been a week and she's still holding so I might finally end up with some acei babies 
Here's a picture of my large male who I suspect is the father. The holding female hides behind the filter intake so I couldn't get a good picture of her (plus my acei HATE their pictures being taken).
