I Can't Get Rid Of This Stuff

OK, used this chemiclean like it said for 2 days then changed the water. Today 2 days after the change the cyano is BRIGHT red! This crap isn't any better than that red slime remover..... Apparently I will have to remove by hand.

Hmm... I don't know what to tell you lol. I only added about 5 scoops (1 scoop per 10gals) and it cleared the cyno away. I did a water change about 5 days after I put it in (thats when I noticed the the cloudyness and odor of the tank). What do you have for water flow? Tell me all your filters, fish, water parameters, ect.

Edit: Only used it one time. I will never use it again due to what it did to my tank (made it cloudy and had a bad odor), didn't harm anything and the lfs said it really wasn't suppose to do that. Maybe that is what made it work? If you want I could send it to you but then the USPO would think it's anthrax or something lol. And if you remove it by hand it will just get worse.

My 75 has a power head in each corner. I have a emperor 400 for water circulation, using no media and a aqua c remora skimmer w/mag drive 3 pump. Have only 5 fish 1 yellow tang, 1 coral beauty, 1 yellowtail damsel and 2 clownfish. SG is 1.025, pH 8.0, kh 8.0, phosphates 0, nitrates 0.

Try adding some media to the 400 and add some powerheads.

Just how many more power heads do you think I need in a 75? I said I had 4, one in each corner. I did add some carbon in my 400 before I added the chemiclean. It was removed when I ran the chemiclean but I was using carbon and didn't notice any help.

Oh you have 4 ok. What direction are they pointing too? Is the cyno still there today? Try adding some phosphate remover to your tank.
