I couldn't resist..... Trip to my lfs... Need some id's on fish

I haven't been to my local fish store in a while, so I decided to go and do some late night shopping at my lfs just to pick up some fish food. ( I had a gift card). I went over to the aquatic section, and they had some fish that I just couldn't resist buying

FISH:

  • 5 guppies ( all are around 2")-paid $2.00 each
  • 1 dd black angelfish ( 4")-paid $7.79
  • 1 ? angelfish ( 3-4")-paid $7.79
  • 1 big emerald cory cat ( 2-2.5")-paid $4.99
They had one prob. close to 4", and if I have time tomm., I will try to go back and get him. If he is still their, I will def. have to take a pic of him. I have never seen such a large cory.

I need help identifying the guppy strains and 1 of the angelfish.

These new fish are all in a qt tank and will stay in their for 2-3 weeks before being added to their display tanks.

I will try to get better pics of the guppies. ( I had to feed them just to get a group pic).

LOL!!! They are pet store guppies. I just wanted to see if anyone was an expert at these fish, and knew exactly what strain they are.

example: guppies are snakeskin, albino, .......
angelfish is a black lace...........
 
More often than not guppies are too interbred for a specific strain. I do see signs of verigated and tuxedo (maybe) though.

That Angelfish looks a bit like mine. Mine are Ken Kennedy's strain of Philippine Blue Angelfish. I bought them from a great breeder by the name of (Mike) River11 on Aquabid that in turn got his directly from Ken. These are my 8 Double Dose "pb" Philippine Blue Clown/Ghost Angels.

They are STUNNING. I highly doubt my angel is a phillippine blue, or a pinoy angelfish. I only paid $7.00 for him. If he/she is, then I am going back to that pet store tomm.
