Ok, the girlfriend just started up a nano (24G Aquapod)
We have 3lbs. live sand in and about 12lbs. or so of live rock (i think)
She just bought 3 hermits and 3 snails last night along with a frag from the lfs.
When I turned the light on today I saw this guy...

I.D.?

i think its called a spaghetti worm im not sure but i believe its called that

I wonder why he didnt stay in his rock, but yes spaghetti worm/

Thank you all. At least glad to see it is not really harmful.

I too am surprised it was out, maybe upset it when I moved the rock around last night.
That's why I don't like doing it that much but the plumbing underneath was blocked and had to be taken care of.

Thanks again!

Depending upon the species, its not uncommon to find such worms crawling about within macroalgae or any other structure that provides them with a bit of protection/hiding. I really wish I could take some of you out snorkeling the macroalgae fields here at night during a low tide, if such critters gross ya out, you would find it to be a nightmare...lol
