I have s few small growths on the back panel of my tank that look like some form of algea. They're small clumpsa of green hair-like stuff with bubbles in them. Anyone know what this stuff is?

Oh, BTW, I just figured out that my center plant that was sold to me as an anubias isn't. It's a ruffled amazon sword. I knew the pictures I'd looked at didn't match up with what I had, so I searched around and finally figured it out.

I checked around for what it might be, and you're right, it does sound alot like hair algea. No pics though, haven't taken any recently enough. I guess I should manually remove it. Though, I'm curious if it would eventually cover the back panel with flowing green hair...probably best not to fool with that I guess. Thanx. ~Angela

Unless youwant it growing in a lot of other places I'd remove it quickly and completely. It's a nasty one to get rid of once it spreads.
