it has a hood, i didnt even buy thse snail, i think they were on a plant i bought. no other snails, and they were the size of a pea. and there is a african darf frog, a albino corycat, and mickey mouse platys
When did you buy the plants? Was the tank the plant in, inhabited by some snails? When you said purple, I keep guessing to myself this could be Pomacea bridgesii. Look that one up.
the plants id say i bought maybe a month ago. i dont remember seeing any snails in the tank but there was oscars ( saying bc i figured they might eat snail). and i think that is what kind they are.
If they are indeed Pomacea bridgesii, they could still be in your tank buried halfway in the substrate. They are more active usually at night. Separate them if you can find them. If these are indeed brigs, congratulations on the new find!
They're sexual so there is no telling what sexes are yours yet. You could try getting another tank. msjinkzd has plenty of brigs for sale if you're interested in them. They're pretty to look at in different colors.
They may just be hiding. This same thing happened to me. I bought some plants then a month later found a couple snails in my tank. They seem to come and go. Just when I think they are gone they show up again. Congrats on the find!
