i got him at my LFS they import thier bettas directly from the breeder in asia and his genes are documented. so he's the real thing
i got his tank set up but he's not going in until the cycle is finished- i'll try to get pics when he's in his new home
for anyone who's interested i've decided to call him tahmi-chan . . . if i've got it right tahmi is the name for the japanese socks thet you can wear thongs with (he's got white tips on his pectoral fins) and chan is a term of enderence
