ya know, the "no spill" water changing thing. i tried to use it today, and it worked alright, but it seemed like it really didn't siphon quickly at all. some of the poop crap stuff it was sucking up starting coming back down while it was still "siphoning." anyone have any tips on how to make the siphon stronger? thanks

yea your water pressure is too low, i have the 4 foot siphon tube and it works great, i connect it to the garden faucet though.

lol

I have the 25 foot python and it has literally too much suction haha. The amount of suction depends on your water pressure. Mine is powerful enough that if I close off the valve it will start collapsing the tubing lol from the pressure.

uh...i don't think i have any other thing on my faucet that can increase the pressure. how else can i increase it? i'm on the second floor, and i have 3 fish tanks that i need to use the python for: 2 upstairs, and one on the main floor, and the 50 ft. hose is just perfect for reaching that tank. i really have no idea how to increase the water pressure. thanks for all your help and advice tho

i think you gotta mess with your plumbing or go buy those pressure increasers. or make sure noone else in the house has the water turned on.

I found that cranking the faucet both hot and cold helps alot. While it wastes quite a bit of water it pulls small rocks up from the botton of my tank the higher I turn on the water.
