**UPDATE** NEW QUESTIONS

I got my Black Ghost today, s/he is 2.5 inches long (and cuter than ever: D). Here are my new questions.

-How do you tell the sexes (female – male?)?
-When should I start hand feeding and taming?
-What do I do to tame him/her?
-What do I feed?
-And when do I start feeding?
-How often should s/he be fed?

I’m sure I will have more questions later – I just forgot what I was going to ask.

I have read your other thread. I firmly believe you should have had a handle on these issues before your purchase. IMO.

Wait, you bought the fish without knowing what to feed it?

You can view this thread (link below) on troubles I had feeding a new BGKF.

He now eats well on blood worm but still too shy to hand-feed. He also likes to nibble on algae wafers there for some plecos in the same tank! I always worry whether he gets enough to eat (because, essentially I have to drop the blood worms in late at night and just hope he finds them - he is basically nocturnal!) But he seems to be doing ok.

the best way to maintain any fish species is to do the research BEFORE you purchase it rather than afterwards. this way, you can insure that you have the proper tank size, can maintain the proper conditions with regard to any specific water chemistry needed, the food requirements of the species in question, the proper environment/habitat and etc.

unfortunately, like many beginning fish folks, you've done it backwards. what will you do now 'if' you find out that you cannot maintain this species properly?

Google Black Ghost Knife Fish (Apteronotus albifrons) and learn about this fish in a hurry.

Well, I know they eat bloodworms and stuff but wanted personal experiences and stuff and if anyone has anything I may not already know about this stuff...

They did ask questions her, not in all areas she asked about here, and basically said she didn't agree with the answers.

Then went out and obtained the fish before having the information. You may need to read the other numerous threads before making a judgement.
