I got a bunch of new fry! need advice.

Snails are not just loach food, as much as I love loaches. They can also help clean up excess fry foods & some crap "infusoria", another micro-food for fry.

I see you're getting hooked on bottom feeders, me too. Loaches of almost any type are way cool to me. I've only bred sewellia lineolata (a type of hillstream loach). But I love botia species & others even without breeding them.

I really like the look of the different loaches. I kinda want a Dojo loach! Reminds me of a dragon lol , Yeah I have a couple of snails in my fry tank aswell

I haven't kept dojos yet, they were illegal where I lived before. Most loaches are social & need friends, so you'll need a 4ft tank for 3 or 4.

But lets save that discussion for another thread. If you think I babble about corys, wait until we talk loaches!! They are my obsession!

Cute! How many do you currently have? That seems like a lot of food just for the fish in the pic...but I bet there are more.

Hahahaa yeah I have 35 in there atm. I wish I knew people to give some to, but at least my LFS will take them.

Find a club & join it. You don't have to go more than a couple times a year to make it worthwhile. Or another lfs...

Many of the clubs I have emailed have no yet replied and have no updates on their website. So I am just waiting to hear a reply from others
