oh i am soo jealous

im really hoping ot be able to afford a 55 in a few months(or like after my birthday in march)

Nice. What fish you thinking of? If i were you i would go for fish that are too big for your old tank but would go perfectly in the 55. In a years time im going to premote my 30 to a 60-65 with the money i shall be rewarded with if i do well in my gcse's. Its gonna rock.

Well. im really really excited that i get to put a couple blue rams in there. I have wanted those for so long.
I want a couple angel fish as well.

What fish do you folks think i should get to help my cycle get broekn in? I plan on getting some bio-spiria when places open again.

Just do the ol fish food or dead shrimp cycle

I would take some of your dads filter media from the established tank, or run the new filter on the established tank for a few weeks. The good bacteria will grow inside the filter and on the filter media. When you are ready to add fish to the new aquarium, simply move the newly established filter over. You can dose pure ammonia to see if the established bacteria converts it in a timely manner 12 hours or so. If so stock slowly and keep checking your paramaters.
