I bought 2 hunks of LR with multiple corals on them...
the first is about 3" by 2", and has a mushroom (2 actual pieces of it) (either bullseye or red, from the look of it), a button polyp (about 5 pieces of it) (brown with stripey bright green center), and then a literal mushroom shaped lavender colored thing... have no idea what it is, but that piece only cost my $14, so I am happy!!
The other piece is a decent sized piece of rock, I'd say a good pound, maybe a little more, with a few polyps (brown so far), and a few mushrooms (not like the other ones, but a brownish color still). It also came with some hitchhikers - a bumblebee snail (yay!) and a banded star fish (think it's a brittle)... not sure if that's a "yay" or not. So far it's stayed in the rock with just his arms waving about. That piece cost my $16.
So, I acclimated them over about an hour, and put them both on the bottom front of the tank. I'm so excited!!! I just really hope I don't kill them.
Anyway, just wanted to share... I'll try to get some pix soon, once they get settled in.
:dance2:

I am going to upload some pix in just a minute.
Wanted to say that the brown polyps on the larger rock also send out the brown strings from the middle of them... kind of neat looking.
And the starfish that was hiding in the larger rock has striped arms and the center is solid black and rounded like it's puffed up, not flat like a disc.

Some pix

First is a picture of the small rock with the 3 different coral... not sure what the large mushroom-shaped one is (anyone want to offer advice on it?), but I think the other 2 are a mushroom (not sure what kind) and a button polyp. My camera isn't so good, so you can't really see the beautiful colors of them. The mushroom-shaped one is a pale lavender color, the mushroom is a reddish-brown, and the polyps are brown with bright green centers.

The larger rock has 2 different things - 2 small mushrooms at the top (a little different looking that the ones on the small rock, but maybe it's just because they are smaller) and then brown polyps. They seem to be just brown with a small whitish-green dot in the center. From this dot a brown string comes out and waves around... kind of neat looking.
The larger rock also has the starfish in it. If you look closely you can see a little bit of it's legs hanging out, kind of near the upper-center of the rock.
Also, around the polyp all the way on the left side there is some sort of green algae growing... I think maybe a type of caulerpa?

So, any ideas what these are, how I need to take care of them, and if that starfish is going to end up decimating my tank?

Thanks in advance!!
