the LR will give you pretty much all the bacteria you need, just let the tank run a little while before adding your first fish and test params. like we said, you really only need a cup or 2 of his sand to seed the new sand. sounds like you'll want at least 2#'s per gallon if not more to get a dsb in your tank. take it slow and talk to us about stock before you start buying
