Hi,

It doesn't work! It says on the lable it cures ick in two days, I've now treated my Angels for five days and the ick is not going away! I did raise the temp up to about 80F.

Has anybody else had troubles with this product before???

Make sure you remove any carbon out of your filters. The carbon can remove the medicine.

Good luck

Hi,

I did remove the carbon. It just fusterates me that this product doesn't work and my Angels are getting more ick!

Try reading about the life cycle of ich and then you'll understand why they don't disappear in two days. There's an article here on how to cure it. I suggest reading it.

It can't possibly cure ich in 2 days. As mentioned above the life cycle of ich just won't allow for that. The meds won't work when the ich is in the cyst form, just the free swiming form. And it can take a week or more for the cysts to hatch.

As stated above you cannot treat ich in two days becuase of its life cycle. You really should treat with 2 tsp of salt per gallon for 14 days at a temp. of above 80degrees. This will kill the ich in all stages. Salt is the least stressful of all the medications I have ever used but should still be added gradually.

Hi,

Well, since last night, they doubled the amount of ick they had and I think they are toast.

Thanks for all your repleys!
