I did not know where to exactly post this one but anyways...

Do fish change colors with their moods??? or threaten??// Or are there certain species that do??? // OR is it not possible and just seeing things???

I rescued a betta from a local wally world and when I bought her she was an pale/ off white color... prettysad. I put her in a 29G and she turned bright red with silver stripes then goes back to pale its like if shes in a happy mood shes all colorfull and maybe when she isnt shes pale..

my rasboras lose their violet hue when stressed.

many ectotherms have the ability to change their skin color. frogs, many lizards, and even snakes can change their body color slightly to indicate mood, heath, ect.

Besides those that do it routinely, as part of their genetics, many fish will exhibit changes in color intensity based on stress, however induced.
