This is great news!!!! Good work! Do you have a LFS who will take them off your hands? I like your plan of rearing them instead of taking from the wild. Good luck!!!! :thm:
eye droppers are my friends for cleaning and feeding. and yeah, i have a headache from focusing on those little boogers. i have hikari first bites to feed them and a batch of bbs hatching even as i type this. i want to hold off the bbs until theyve gotten a bit larger; ive done some reading and it seems that a lot of cories have issues with the salt content of the bbs and die in droves when they are fed bbs. im keeping some hornwort in their little box for shelter and for the critters that live on the plant itself.
ok...the spawning is getting ridiculous! this is the third time in just over a week i have found cory eggs all over my tank! i thought id at least have a couple of weeks to breathe, but i guess not
this newest batch is fish food. im not collecting the eggs. i found 2 that were on the verge of hatching that i left alone as well. *sigh* TOOOOOOOOO MANY!
It's not the same female, you have more than one female, they just all came into breeding condition at the same time. My female albino cories spawn within a few days of each other. Gives the boys a little rest!:grinyes:
