I have wigglers!

Mine seem to prefer the cucumber. They will still eat the zucchini when I put it in there, but not as voraciously as the cucumber. They like the softened algae wafers as well.

Been awhile since I updated. All 10 are still alive and going strong. Getting bigger daily. Here's a couple pics that I took a few minutes ago, just after I threw a couple algae wafers in. They LOVE those things! lol
Sorry for the crappy pics.. my camera did not want to cooperate today.

So, a little update. The babies are now just over 5 weeks old. I (stupidly) lost one down the drain while cleaning the filter (didn't realize there was one in there), but the remaining 9 are doing great and getting big. Couple new pics below from today. Camera is still acting up, so not great shots, sorry. Also a few pics from the new spawn that hatched on Friday. 30 hatched out and all 30 are still alive as of now :)

And, the newest babies... I had to use flash, so you can't really notice; but they are already coloring up very nicely.

Great fun, he is still kicking them out obviously.....i think i will be going for a bare bottom grow out tank with lots of caves and bog wood as the babies do poop an awful lot. They are in a three foot at the moment, expecting new babies any day now.

Congratulations on both batches of babies! :) I really really appreciate you documenting through photos the developments of the babies -- I never knew they held so much yolk after being born. I wish you the best of luck with the previous and new batch. Those are some super cute babies! ;)
