i am clueless as to what is wrong with my male guppy. all water paramaters seem fine, however i did hate a nitrate issue last week that has since been resolved.
the poor guy has been ill for 4 days now. he started by hanging at the top of the tank, looking fine though. thenafter a day he sat on the bottom and wouldnt respond to anything, other fish or even food. now (day 4) he is up swimming again and responsive, but looks horrible. he didnt look like this until this evening.
he has red spots/sores? on his body and white fuzz on his head/nose. you can see the red spots and white fuzz pretty well in one pic. also its only on one side so far. i have included a pic of his other side also. he is in a hospital tank now, but im afraid whatever he has may infect the others.
please help me figure out what this is, and what i can do for the other tankmates if this might get them too.

update: he did indeed die. i was pretty sure he was beyond help. my main worry is the other fish and i dont want them to suffer the same fate.[/URL]
