about self

38 yoa lived in Ohio all but 7 years down south Tn for school. Married 12 yrs and have two girls 8 and 5 yrs old. Degree in education but not teaching at the moment. Intrests lately have been writtings of J.R. Tolkien and back into the fish aquariums after almost two years of nothing but an outdoor pond.Had 7-8 aquariums when i lived in my first house.

I'm a mom of 3 ages 10, 13 and 16. We live in the northeast are of Connecticut, not far from UCONN. Been married for 18 years (to the same guy) I work PT at the local elementary school subbing for the one to one aids/paraprofessionals. (today I'll be working with a 2nd grader with a serious case of cerebral palsy) My husband is a tool and die maker and also builds computers in his spare time...(what a wonderful thing !!) We have no shortage of computers in this house...and they all work !! :D

Science and biology were my favorite subjects in school and I grew up on Jaques Cousteau and the National Geaographic specials when I was a kid. I really enjoy taking care of my tanks...probably a bit TOO much...lol...

I pretend to play the violin/fiddle..lol...have only been at it for 3 years now, but getting better all the time...(good thing too, because the family is about ready to toss me and my fiddle out the door !) My youngest son is also learning the violin and doing very well. (he's getting a better one for Christmas this year ;) ) He plays the flute as well. My other two play clarinet and the oldest plays piano. Music is GREAT ! and anything I can do to encourage them in that area...I do !

And God is so very good to me !!

I am a spoiled stay-at-home mom. We have two children, our son is 11, or daughter is 6. I have been married for almost 13 years. We live on a small farm where I breed and raise poultry as a hobby and I enjoy gardening. We have 2 housecats, 2 parrots, the tanks, and one very old hamster. I work a few days a month at a craft store chain in the office (just want that discount!LOL). I do all kinds of crafts-sewing, crochet, knitting, painting, woodworking, and I teach scrapbooking and rubber stamping/card making.
I am a complete homebody. I would just rather be at my home than anyplace else.

I'm 33 and live in Pinckney, Michigan. Been living there for the past six years. I've been married to my husband for 10 years (been together for 15), and we have four great kids. Boy (autistic) 9, Girl 8, Girl 5 and Boy 4. We have a black lab, Lady, who is 6. I stay at home and write. Also help manage a family restaurant, and waitress and cook there too.

I've had three short stories published. Two of them horror. I am working on revising older short stories and a novel. :)

;)

Isn't it though?? It's done so much for our kids too...and I have a stack of instruments sitting around, someone or another plays most of them. The older one plays various assorted clarinets and saxaphones, and the younger one plays bassoon and various brass intruments. Music has opened so many doors for them and provided so many wonderful experiences. The best thing you can do is put an intrument in your childs hands. Mine both continued to play at the college level, the one currently in college gets paid to play in the pep band at basketball games...a nice extra. not all colleges do that, but the one she goes to does.
Being in band provided them with a great culture...friends..experiences...and gave us as parents a way to be involved through parents oprganizations...don't let your school cut music education!!!!

Hi everyone.

My name is Nick I am 23 years old and I live in La Crosse, WI. I was born here, moved to Los Angeles when I was five and I have now been back here for two years. I married my high school sweetheart this past June.

I play in guitar in a rock band called "Her Murderous Work" and have been playing in numerous bands of many different styles since I was 14 years old.

I had a 10 gal. tank when I was younger but it was destroyed in the earthquake in 1994 :( I am finally ready to commit myself to the hobby once again and I will be getting an ECLIPSE 29 gal. combo set up around christmas time. I found this site as I was looking for information to prepare myself for my new tank and am VERY happy with what I have found!! :D

I've been to Hell a few times. It's less than a ten minute drive. :)

Yeah. I go to Bushes often. Not my main shopping place, but when I need something fast...it's the place!

Why?

Just curious, because when i visit there (usually in summer) bushes is where i get the BBQ supplies.

I'm 17... probably one of the youngest here. :D
anyways, I started aquariums with my sis about 2 years ago. I live in Edmonton and I work at Mcdonalds! yay! lol

it's winter, so I guess it's hockey season. I'm not even a big fan of hockey even though I am Canadian, I would much rather be riding some trails on my bike in 30 degree(celcius) weather.
