my bf may have score me 4 more L239s. i have 1 already; a beautiful 4" male. i have a spare 60 gallon with nothing in it. i know these guys are hard to find and a pain to breed, but it has been done. it would be nice to increase the population of captive bred L239s. most of the breeding seems to have gon on in europe.
the best fun is i think mine is looking for a new territory. this is the second morning in a row ive seen him out and about in my tank when i turned the lights on. usually hes very reclusive until feeding time. its nice to be able to get a good look at him. hes a beautiful color and hes got a nice fat tummy. aw he just swam back under the pile of driftwood in my tank. his bristles have enlarged. im thinking he might just be mature enough to spawn.
