There is good and bad that goes with this site going down.
The bad is you get used to trusting the advice of these knowledgable people.
The good is it forces you to look for new forums which I found a pretty good one, will now bounce ideas off both. Someone there actually asked what happened to AC so there are others traveling down the same path.

Yeah, welcome Back for another 15 days or so. I usually take the time off to get things back in order with my tanks. I just switched over filtration types on a couple of tanks and put Co2 diffusers in the place of my previous reactors. Cleaned up the office a bit so my wife would be more fish friendly and so on. I check in at Tom's Place occasionally but that's about it for other sites.

Yup, I checked every morning to see if site was up, got over my daily disappointment over not being able to connect with my friends, then searched for other sites. I did find that a number of them do not have frequent postings at all--last ones were January, Feb. Hmmmm. This is a very active place, and I like that. cheers, big ears! got a 55g in the meantime, woo hoo :clap:
Well it has continued like this for a while, and despite the efforts of concerned members, the only thing that has been done is the addition of a "sponsor" which had previously conducted an agressive spam campaign to get our members to join there. The owner of said sight would answer any and all posts here with "mabey you could find the answer on www.spamcentral.com" I guess if you want to stay with AC you better get used to only having it for 2 weeks a month or so.YuccaPatrol said:
