I need cichlids

I have a 55 gallon fish tank which was broken, I'm replacing the tank and need cichlids to go in there. Please help ! Thanks

Quite a few different "cichlids". Might help to post some pics of ones you like before determining stocking plans. Have you kept any before?

Yes I had them, I had the convict African cichlids if that helps. I would like to had an assortment of the in different colors if they come like that. Any idea where I can purchase them?

Convicts are actually from Central America, not Africa...

If you want color, how about an all male Peacock tank? A 55gal would make a nice size tank for just that.

How about a pair of 2 different species of apistogramma or 1 of rams & apistos? You'll need some areas each pair can defend & spawn in, block the site lines more or less 50:50. A shoal of smallish tetras or similar & maybe a BN pleco or school of corydoras. Classic SA 55g!
