I have been perplexed by an unknown nemesis until I noticed cottony growth on the fins so I bought pimafix and added salt . I have been using for two days it's not helping yet and now the cottony fungus is on my plants. Any suggestions I have already lost most of my fish and only have 4 left. Please help!!!

It would be helpful to post a pic of the cottony growth on the fish as well as the plants.

Could you also post the water test results for ammonia, nitrite (NO2) and nitrate (NO3)?

That sounds rough, man. And really weird... Are the plants healthy? You know the drill, pics and params!

you should post your maint schedule and what the current water parameters are.

pictures would also help.
until then we can only speculate what is happening.

how long has this tank been up and running?

I had the water tested all was good except ammonia was high but said it could be from all my fish dying. My plants had a fuzzy gel on them. I put API Fungus cure in and did a 50% water change. My last fish died Wednesday I believe. The only survivor was one Bolivian ram cichlid shows no signs like the others and is well. 2 years but I did a move in March.

broken link? no pic

Is it possible a ram cichlid took out the fish systematically? One day the neons were dead , then the guppies, the platty ,then the Tetras one at a time? I only ask because he never showed signs of illness and is still alive healthy as ever.
