I have a betta in a 6 gallon eclipse. I believe he has ich (a few white spots, and cloudy eyes).

I added some salt to the water (1 tablespoon). The temp in the tank is 80 degrees.

I bought some Coppersafe, but misplaced the paper directions. The box says to use 1 teaspoon for each 4 gallons. I used 1 1/4 teaspoons (I figured the tank only has 5 gallons of water in it). Is this all I have to do? Do I add additional amounts at all?

Any help would be appreciated in addition to any other advice. Thanks.

Michele

Copper is one of those last resort meds you should use. Its extremely effective, but also very very harsh on the fish. Don't add anymore to the tank, it will be hard to get it completely out to begin with.

So, don't add anymore, just see if it works, it should. I can't stress enough how rough the copper is on the fish.
