i need HELP!!! with crab

i just got a 10gl tank. i got a red claw crab. it was really active the first couple of days but now its ......... like........dead. not dead yet but i'm worried. please help. i need to know if he needs to be out of the water sometimes or is he sick?

Do a search. Or even look at the rest of the threads on the FW Noob Forum page. Yesterday I posted a link to a Crab website with forum.

But for your crabs sake. He needs to GET OUT OF WATER to breathe.

hes doing a lot better now and its only been like an hour. but he changed color to a lighter color. is he molting or sick?

Do you add non iodized salt to you water?
Is he the only creature in your aquariuM? Or do you have fish as well?

no i have not added salt and right now hes the only thing but i'm getting fish this weekend

I felt so bad that i almost killed my first and only thing in my tank, that i bought some live bloodworms. the LFS said that they would live for 4-5 days but i forgot to ask what to feed them if anything. also they seem to be going under my gravel. will they breed? can they live under there? what do they eat? will they come up so my crab can eat them?
