I need input from the fairer sex...

I just showed this thread to my girl and now she wants some Tater Mitts, too! LMAO! Looks like I'll be picking up a pair as a stocking stuffer. Awesome!

I am also getting her a nice set of kitchen knives at her request. Emerilware has a nice Wustof set I'll probably get for her...along with some perfume, new boots, a dress and/or tunic and an AeroGarden.

This sounds like a well thought out gift list - good job! Good kitchen knives are spendy and well appreciated, but you also have some personal items on the list too. You are a keeper! :grinyes:

Well, I broke down, and gave them to her early...it appears to be a success.

She looked at them, said 'Tater Mitts?', and then ran out of the room crying...pretty sure it was more than she was expecting. :thm:

My girl is a bit picky, If i gave her a bar of gold and a 100carat diamond she would laugh and tell me I was insane and to remeber that she hates gold and diamonds. Guess her ring will be silver and onyx. Tricky trick. Its okay though I don't like gold or diamonds either.

I think she'd kill you if you actually bought a real silver ring. Go with white gold...

Guess it depends on the lady. Got my wife the complete boxed set of the "Sex in the City" series, the movie, a gift certificate for a massage, a new belt sander, and a Dremel tool with a variety of attachments. Exacty what SHE wanted, no kidding!

Great combination. There's just somethin' 'bout a woman with power tools...

Dang!! Late on the thread....I'd have imported Nerida a pair of those massage mitts for sure! :eek3:
I wish I'd gotten here earlier 'cause I agree that there's nothing worse than overdoing the gift thing. I would have suggested giving her one mitt now and one for her birthday! :)
Tatter socks.....?

Well we haven't heard from Mad these past few days but I think I did hear something on the news here in Chicago that I guy was found with those same mitts stuck where the sun doesn't shine. Well maybe that was one of the other guys that thought that was an excellent gift to give. Remember this was her BIG gift.

Although my husband got me power tools a couple of years ago and I love them. I have even added to the set.

Hey Murraycod, you might have something with the Tatter socks. Just think how it would get rid of ruff feet.

if my man had got me tater mitts for christmas, u just know he would have enjoyed peeling the spuds for the whole family. Id have made him demostrate just what a useless gimmick he had just bought, and he would be paying for it at least until next christmas lmao.
