I need tips on moving an anenome

My RBTA has moved onto the side of my tank in an unsafe spot behind some rocks and under some powerheads. I have moved all my rock and would like to move him to a safer spot. Does anyone have any suggestions for removing him from the side of the tank without injuring him.

If it's attached to a rock, you can move the rock safely. If it's attached to the glass, I would not risk it. Damaging the stump is very bad for anenomes. I'd move the powerhead, and screen it, so tentacles can't get sucked in, and just let it find a spot it likes, rather than trying to force it someplace.

Yep. og is 100% correct just to add a bit. Make sure you have your intake/overflows screened or your anemone will find it's way in there eventually. I use the plastic egg crate sheets like you get at Wal-Mart for needle point. It doesn't trap trash causing a nitrate problem and it's big enough that none of your critters should be able to squeeze through the hole.
