Or at lest his parents are for putting poor little Dorothy in a stupid bowl. That is where all the little kids get the idea that it is ok, and the parents don't know better.
We should start a letter writing campaign to Sesame Street and demand that they demonstrate responsible pet ownership.

ok then... but i do agree with you!

lol i think they did once on another show that featured elmo it was the animal fanatic on martha stewert he told elmo that he was wrong for putting dorothy in a bowl then said that he couuld put a betta in it instead.

Not only is Elmo irresponsible, his goldfish Dorothy is too. She even has a pet goldfish in a bowl. (The implications of this are mindboggling!)

How many goldfish must they kill to film a season? I haven't watched sesame street in a couple decades, and I never realized that they actively promoted such atrocities.

You know Cookie Monster doesn't eat cookies as much anymore because parents complained? Now Cookies are a "sometimes snack" and he eats carrots and other things instead usually.

Personally, I want to know if Elmo fishless cycled the bowl- or if he cycled with the fish in the bowl? I, for one, have never seen Elmo using a nitrate test kit- does he even care about the nitrogen cycle?

He's out there laughing being tickled whilst his goldfish has burning gills. He should be ashamed... or eaten.

Personally, I think Elmo would make a fantastic Christmas Turkey.

You want to eat Elmo?!?

I can see it now:

(Cue daydream sequence)

"Eat me Elmo" Loves when you eat his...

(abruptly end daydream sequence)
