i think my cherry barb has ick!!!

They can handle salt...trust me I have one. It helps cure the underlying cause which is your fishes slime coat isn't fully healed and her wounds. Their slime coat deteriorates because of stress. When the ich is gone it leaves a wound, the melafix helps that wound and replace the slimecoat.

oh ok. are you sure it wont hurt my synos(not being disrespectful or anything) i just really dont want them to die. should i try heat+another heater(to see if it raises the temp)+melafix?

Again, if you have nothing new ( less than a month ) its not ick. I'm no disease expert but I'm pretty sure its not ick. Ick has a life cycle and if it doesn't find a host it dies. Check out other diseases.

i dont think this is ick. its pretty large spots, and its only on two fish, there not spreading or anything. at this point i have no idea what to do.

In my opinion, from the photos you posted on your other thread, it looks to be columnaris but I can't really see the spots to tell if it is ich, columnaris, or another unknown disease. Are they circle shaped/spots like ich but larger or do they look like spots on the inside skin and out? Did the barbs start by flashing and this showed up? How long did you quarantine each fish you added (the rams, cherry barbs, etc.)? Some disease can show up after a few weeks of no signs/sickness. You should separate the sick ones so they don't have a higher chance of affecting the others if they are not infected yet.
